Coach Registration

Posted: September 28, 2017

For the 2017/18 season Scottish Rowing is introducing a new Coach Registration process for all coaches wishing to receive direct communications regarding the Scottish Rowing Performance Programme.

Coach Registration will also be mandatory for any coach wishing to participate in any Scottish Rowing Performance Programme activities including the Junior Development Programme and the Scotland Rowing Team. This allows us to better support the coaching workforce across Scotland as well as helping us to safeguard the participants in our sport.

To register as a coach with the Scottish Rowing Performance Programme for 2017/18 season please email Carol Ann Ellis, Scottish Rowing Administrator (office@scottish-rowing.org.uk) by 31st October 2017 with the following information:

  • Your Scottish Rowing Membership Number (see http://rowing.ismysport.org/ to sign up);
  • Confirmation of whether you are a member of the PVG Scheme through Scottish Rowing (junior coaches only);
  • Evidence of attendance at a Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop within the past 3 years; and
  • Evidence of completion of the UK Anti-Doping Accredited Advisors course (free online).

For support regarding any aspect of the Coach Registration process or to arrange to complete a PVG check through Scottish Rowing please phone 01698 250 206.
