Sessional Coach: Row the Rhythm (Pilot)

Location: Based at Scottish Rowing Centre, 366 Hamilton Road, Strathclyde Park, Motherwell, ML1 3ED

Contract Type: Sessional Coach (minimum of 4 positions available for pilot project)

Salary: £12.60 per hour (up to six 4 hour sessions, plus training)

Responsible to: Development Manager (Outreach)

Scottish Rowing is the Governing Body for rowing in Scotland. Our vision is a successful and thriving rowing community and our mission is to support and empower people in Scotland to enjoy rowing and achieve their potential.

In partnership with Love Rowing, we are excited to open recruitment for four sessional coaches to support our Row the Rhythm pilot project. 

Please note: Applicants who are not available for all of the session dates will be considered, as will applicants who do not have rowing specific qualifications but who could assist the lead coaches.

The project supports visually impaired participants in accessing rowing coaching, and providing an all important social networking opportunity within each session.

Performance Advisory Group (PAG): Independent Performance Advisor

Contract Type: Voluntary

Salary: Voluntary (reasonable expenses covered)

Responsible to: Director (Performance)

Scottish Rowing is the Governing Body for rowing in Scotland. Our vision is a successful and thriving rowing community and our mission is to support and empower people in Scotland to enjoy rowing and achieve their potential.

Since 2022, Scottish Rowing has gone through an exciting period of significant change with the introduction of a new Olympic discipline, the expansion of the performance programme and a specific focus on extending the reach of the sport into non traditional rowing communities. We will undoubtably see the Scotland Rowing Team grow even stronger as a result of these changes and we are now recruiting an Independent Performance Advisor to sit withing the Performance Advisory Group to guide the future generations of international athletes.
