Indoor Rowing is a great way to start rowing within a school.
Indoor rowing is a non-traditional, high energy sport for pupils to compete in as individuals or as teams. This sport is something different which is simple and easily accessible, for an all over body work out, where no-one is left behind!
We are always interested to hear from schools who would like to start a club or learn more about how to get involved.
We also run the Scottish Rowing Schools Indoor League every Autumn which is completely free and our Development team are happy to support schools to get involved.
Anyone can take part in the league, with scores being submitted electronically. Pupils who enter earn points towards the school total simply by taking part and there are extra points if they finish in the top 10 for their age category in each round. The school with the most points at the end of the league will be awarded the trophy and crowned champions for the year. You can find all the information for this year on our Schools League page.
