Teenager India Somerside proved she is coming of age after partnering Lauren Gray to first place at this month’s GB Rowing Team 1st Assessment at Boston.

Membership Consultation - Aberdeen

Scottish Rowing would like to remind everyone that the Aberdeen Membership Consultation will take place at the regional group meeting on Monday 13th November at 7.00pm in the TWMA Building, Broadfold House, Broadfold Road, Bridge of Don Aberdeen, AB23 8EE.

Scottish Rowing’s schools indoor league promises to end with the most thrilling climax when Ravenscraig hosts the 2017 Scottish Rowing Schools Indoor Championships in two weekends’ time.

Higson is first rowing coach from Scotland selected for Performance Foundation Coach Support

John Higson, the lead coach of women’s rowing at Edinburgh University Boat Club and number two to Head Coach Colin Williamson, has become the first rowing coach from Scotland selected for the newly launched UK Coaching’s Performance Foundation Coach Support programme.

Described as an “18-month long journey” for 38 coaches from eight sports, the programme will be run by the UK Coaching Talent and Performance team in partnership with UK Sport. It is designed specifically to develop coaches working with talented athletes who have the potential to win medals.

Strathclyde Country Park Water & Access Restrictions - 4th & 5th November 2017

North Lanarkshire Council have advised that the loch at Strathclyde Country Park will be closed to rowing on Sunday 5th November 2017 in the run up to the annual firework display taking place in the evening.

Scottish Rowing Annual Awards Nominations Open

We are pleased to announce that nominations for the Scottish Rowing Annual Awards are now being accepted. The closing date for nominations is Friday the 1st of December. The awards will be presented on the 20th of January at a Celebration event, details of this exciting new event will follow soon.
