November 1, 2018
North Lanarkshire Council have advised that the loch at Strathclyde Country Park will be open for use on the 4th November but there will be access restrictions to the concourse due to work being carried out in the run up to the annual firework display.
On the 5th November there will be no water access permitted, a temporary road closure and entry restrictions to the park. A one way, entry only traffic system will be in operation and the main park road will be closed between the hours of 5pm and 10pm. During the time of the road closure, no vehicles should be situated within any of the car parks throughout the venue or they run the risk of being towed. For further information please contact North Lanarkshire Council on 01698 402060.
