After nearly a decade on the Board of Scottish Rowing - as Director of Performance - Dorothy (Dot) Roberts has announced that she is stepping down with immediate effect due to personal circumstances.

Henely Royal Regatta saw a record number of crews racing on the Thames last week – and a great representation of both Scottish crews and individual Scottish rowers.
With 13 Scottish crews making it into the main draw, it was a busy start to the week! Special mention to The University of Edinburgh, who enjoyed a record year with seven crews / 55 athletes competing at Henley Royal Regatta, including three women’s eights who qualified for The Island Challenge Cup – the most of any club.

Last weekend a record number of over 2,300 female athletes (579 crews) descended on Henley upon Thames for Henley Women’s Regatta. Twenty-four Scottish crews made the journey south to race, spanning across Championship, Aspirational, Academic, Development, Junior and Para-rowing events, with 3 of these crews walking away with silverware for their efforts!

Scotland’s leading rowers will have an added incentive when they arrive on the start line at the Scottish Rowing Championships this weekend as trophies will be presented to the winners of the Championship Single Sculls and Pairs events (across both Open and Women).
