Scottish Rowing is delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Boucher as its new Chief Executive.
Lee, currently Head of Performance and Pathways with the organisation, will take up the new role immediately, taking over from Chief Operating Officer, Amanda Cobb, who announced her retirement in December and steps down at the end of this month - after nearly 14 years with Scottish Rowing.

We wanted to provide an update on Board recruitment following three new Director appointments that have now been confirmed. We also wish to provide some additional context about the steps that have been taken by the Board to ensure that strong governance has been maintained throughout this period.

The Scottish Argonauts Project provides a unique opportunity for many of our junior rowers to experience training and racing in eights at a national level competition, namely Women’s Eights Head of the River Race and Head of the River Race on the Tideway. The Project has been running for several years and is a staple in the Junior Performance Pathway. We look forward to the continuation of the Argonauts project for many years to come.

The inaugural Scottish Rowing Beach Sprint Championships, part of the Four Nations Beach Sprint Series, will be taking place on Saturday 18th May at East Sands, St Andrews.

Scottish Rowing is seeking three new Directors to join its voluntary Board. The volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Scottish Rowing. The Board meets regularly to oversee the management of the business with day to day delivery delegated to a staff team based at Strathclyde Country Park and across Scotland.
