Get ready for an unforgettable week on the water as the Junior Technical Camp returns to Strathclyde Park, Motherwell, from August 4th to 8th! Now in its third successful year, this five-day camp is tailored to young single scullers with aspirations of high performance, eager to sharpen their technical skills, gain expert insights, and train alongside motivated peers.
Introducing Sheyi Blackett
This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Sheyi Blackett, Head Coach of the Masters Programme at Twickenham Rowing Club. A silver medalist at the Junior World Championships and Henley Women’s Regatta champion, Sheyi brings elite-level experience, infectious energy, and a passion for athlete development. Her technical know-how and motivational style ensure each rower leaves the camp more confident, capable, and inspired.
Who Can Attend?
The camp is open to J15 and J16 athletes who meet the following criteria:

Lunch is not provided — please bring your own packed lunch each day.
Equipment Info
Participants are expected to bring their own single scull and blades, which can be stored securely onsite for the week.
