The Glasgow Academy's Gavin Horsburgh and Josh Armstrong led the way as Scotland's junior rowers recorded some impressive performances at the GB Rowing Team Junior Assessment in Boston, Lincolnshire, on the 21st/22nd of February.
17-year-old Horsburgh from Lochwinnoch and Armstrong, 16, from Glasgow, set the pace on the first day of the 2-day trial over the 5,000m course on the River Witham winning the junior men's double scull by over 11 seconds from their nearest rivals.
