Dear Member,
As we approach the end of 2025, I want to thank you for being part of the Scottish Rowing community this year. The festive period is a time to celebrate and reflect - to recognise the progress we’ve made together and appreciate the strength of our rowing family.
Over the past 12 months, rowing in Scotland has continued to grow and thrive, with many highlights at a local, national and international level. We also acknowledge the challenges our sport has faced, but together we have responded positively and emerged stronger.
2026 marks an exciting new chapter with the launch of our new strategic plan, developed through extensive consultation. Thank you to all who attended the club roadshows earlier this year. As we move into the New Year, I hope members will notice real improvements in how we support clubs and individuals across our sport, thanks to recent additions to our staff team. Member engagement and supporting our people will be central to our new strategy.
The Scottish Rowing team will take an extended break over the holiday period, and our office will be closed from Friday 19 December, reopening on Monday 5 January. During this time, phones and mailboxes will not be monitored.
On behalf of everyone at Scottish Rowing, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful festive season and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for your continued support - we look forward to an exciting 2026 together.
With festive good wishes,
Lee Boucher
CEO, Scottish Rowing
