Further to the earlier communication, the organising committee of the Scottish Rowing Winter Challenge has taken the decision to cancel the event this weekend.

The Met Office backed up by other agencies, has reported a yellow weather warning for the weekend which has the potential to compromise the safety of our competitors, trailer drivers, etc.

We are extremely disappointed to be cancelling the event but trust that in making an early decision clubs will be able to reschedule travel and accommodation plans.

A decision regarding the refund of entry fees will be made once all of the irrecoverable costs are known, as outlined in the event cancellation policy. 

The organising committee would like to thank all clubs who supported this new event in the competition calendar and wish competitors well for the season ahead.
