Junior rowers from Aberdeen and Edinburgh featured as Great Britain took home eight gold medals and topped the Coupe de la Jeunesse points table in Hazewinkel, Belgium.

Miles Beeson and Robert Powell (Aberdeen Schools Rowing Association) were in the junior men’s eight that took BRONZE on Saturday behind the Czech Republic and Switzerland before turning the result around on Sunday to take a memorable GOLD.

Also on the medal podium was Jane Hardie (George Heriot’s School Rowing Club) who won BRONZE in the junior women’s single scull on the Saturday and SILVER on Sunday.

Congratulations to Miles, Robert, Jane and their respective coaching teams on a successful end to the season.
