Please be aware of some of the planned and current coach qualifications taking place into the following year.
British Rowing Level 2 Session Coach Course
This coaching course is aimed at ages 16+ and is applicable to coaches working with all groups, from novices to experienced rowers. This course is ideal for people who want to become rowing coaches, lead groups or squads, develop rowers and deliver positive experiences. You will receive a recognized UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rowing.
Session Coach Courses cost £249 per person.

Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach Course
Are you a Club Coach who wants to take the theory of strength and conditioning and apply it to your rowers on the gym floor and in the boat?
Then the UKCC Level 2 Strength and Conditioning for Club S&C Coaches is exactly what you need to prepare, deliver, and review strength and conditioning coaching sessions.
This course is also a pre-requisite for any coach wishing to enter the British Rowing Level 3 Senior Coach Qualification.
We are gauging interest in this course for the following dates.

UKSCA Level 3 Diploma - Accredited Strength and Conditioning Trainer (ASCT)
This course prepares learners to plan, deliver and evaluate safe, ethical and effective strength and conditioning coaching sessions as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
The qualification is designed for individuals preparing to work in a strength and conditioning environment who wish to independently coach strength and conditioning to young people and adults, usually within the fitness and club environment.
The qualification may also be useful for coaches who wish to offer strength and conditioning coaching sessions to their teams or athletes.
This is the first step on working towards becoming a professional Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC).
The course will take place on the following dates at the Scottish Rowing Centre

Emergency First Aid
The following dates are for in-person emergency first aid qualification.
All courses are 6 hours and would satisfy our Coach Club membership criteria. These courses are being delivered by ‘Primo Performance’.
Venue: Scottish Rowing Centre.

Note: Courses have a minimum requirement of 8 attendees and a maximum of 12. In the event of an insufficient number of applicants the course will be cancelled. In the event of an oversubscription, bookings will be open on a first come first serve basis. Please be aware that once bookings are live, any member of British Rowing can book onto the course, and there are people travelling across the country to find courses.
