Scottish Rowing has taken the decision not to host the Scottish Rowing Indoors Championships in 2023. The decision is based on the reduced level of interest, particularly from our membership, in the event in the last few years. We want our events to provide a fun and competitive racing experience for all competitors, and don’t feel that the current levels of demand support this.                                                                                                                                                                     

We continue to value and promote indoor rowing and look forward to running our popular, free to enter Schools Indoor League and Schools Indoor Championship as usual this autumn.  We are also working with our partners at Scottish Student Sport to ensure there will be opportunities for students to take part in indoor rowing competition this year. Finally, whilst we are not hosting the event this year, we will continue to keep this under review should circumstances change.

Scottish Rowing
