Scottish Rowing President Mike Morrice joined other special guests Katherine Grainger and Imogen Walsh in celebrating the launch of a junior development programme at Clydesdale yesterday.  Clydesdale has worked hard on club development in recent years and is delighted to be one of just 11 clubs in Scotland to benefit from Direct Club Investment over the next 4 years from sportscotland.

Clydesdale President, Andrew McConnell said:  "Yesterday's celebrations were the culmination of club development work by our hard working committee over many years and I'm pleased that our members and guests were there to see the relevance of the work which Scottish Rowing, sportscotland, Glasgow Life and the Sports Council for Glasgow do to support grassroots sport.  The team at Scottish Rowing have been of great support to Clydesdale's club development and I'm delighted that Mike, Amanda and Andrew were all able to join us yesterday."
